We offer personalised forwarding email addresses so that if you chose ‘james.brown@brighton.co.uk’, once set up, any email sent to that address would be immediately forwarded on to your existing email address (eg. j.brown@btconnect.com)

So if you currently have a BT or Virgin email address for example and were thinking of changing your broadband provider you would have to change your email address however if all your contacts used your @brighton.uk email address you could change where that email is forwarded to whenever you like. So you have the freedom to switch.
